Water
Water extinguishers fight 'Type A' Fires - solids, e.g. wood, paper, plastic, sugar, upholstery etc.
Co2
CO2 Fire Extinguishers fights electrical Fires and flammable liquids.
Powder
Powder Fire Extinguishers are multi-class extinguisher and will fight: solids, flammable liquids, flammable gasses and electrical Fires.

Foam
Foam Extinguishers fights 'Type A & B' Fires which includes - solids, e.g. wood, paper, plastic, sugar, upholstery etc. and flammable liquids.
Wet Chemical
Wet Chemical Fire Extinguishers are
specifically designed to fight Fires involving cooking oil and fat.
Fire Blankets
Fire blankets are made of Fire-resistant materials. They are particularly useful for smothering fat pan Fires or for wrapping around a person whose clothing is on Fire.
